Turner Osteopathy was formed in 2012, by Adrian Turner. He has a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy from the  Oxford Brookes University, UK, 2007, and a Diploma in Osteopathy from the Northern Counties School of Osteopathy, UK, 1995.

Being a mechanic in his past occupation, Adrian has been practicing Osteopathy in Whangarei since 2007. He uses a lot of the problem solving techniques learned as a mechanic to find the origin of a problem. “I use the example of when you take your car to the garage when it keeps wearing tyres out, there is no point keep changing the tyres, you correct the tracking.”

Adrian has a strong understanding of the bio-mechanical systems of the body, breathing mechanics and exercises, how the subconscious/emotions work on the body, analysing posture and also locating causal chains or patterns.

He used to play Rugby League in his younger days, and represented Wigan, Lancashire and Great Britain. He had a short professional term at the great R.L. club Wigan. Adrian also likes playing squash, boxing, kayaking, and fishing.
